Todd Borghesani, Founder & Managing Partner. Todd Borghesani, Esq. brings real world experience to career education. He has over twenty years of experience starting high tech companies and creating new products. His work and passion is visualizing the future.

Todd has worked domestically and internationally with state and federal governments and has worked in entrepreneurial, large corporate and federal agency settings. With the Federation of American Scientists, Todd designed the IncredibleMinds Career Roleplaying Program. He worked with DOD U.S. Army Research to investigate and design a “national challenge” framework, which combined modeling, simulation and interactive entertainment technologies to inspire youth to pursue in-demand careers. In his position as Director of Special Projects for NASA Education, he focused on the transformation of science, technology, engineering and math education. His work on the NASA Space Exploration Game, “Astronaut, Moon, Mars & Beyond,” set the stage for the Agency’s current game offering. He pioneered core concepts such as “First Person Exploration” and the use of authentic careers for players’ characters.

Todd invented the educational program, brand and marketing strategy for the nation’s first statewide “Governor’s Business Plan Contest.” Prior to working with the State of Wisconsin, he ran a company that built network laboratories as learning platforms. The laboratory ran virtualized networks as game-based learning environments to train network engineers and network security professionals. Early in his career, Todd worked in the emerging market of the former USSR where he represented green building technologies to regional governments, foreign embassies, the U.S. Department of State, World Bank and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Prior to working in the private sector, Todd served in the U.S. Navy, enlisted and officer, and was recruited by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. He has an undergraduate degree in Russian Language and East European Studies from Indiana University and a law degree and masters in international relations from Marquette University and Moscow State University.

Dr. Keenan Grenell, Partner &  Workforce Diversity Expert. Dr. Grenell understands the world of higher education, entrepreneurship and the competitiveness of STEM — Science, Technology, Engineering and Math — education. Keenan is founder of the Grenell Development Group, a premier, boutique consultancy specializing in diversity program design for academia.

Keenan was the Vice President and Dean of Diversity and Associate Professor of Africana and Latin American Studies at Colgate University, one of America’s leading liberal arts Universities. Before joining Colgate in September, 2008, Grenell served as Associate Provost for Diversity and Associate Professor of Political Science at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He also serves as President of the Keenan D. Grenell African-American Entrepreneurship Summit, Inc., President of the Grenell Development Group and a Global Fellow at the Institute of Innovation, Creativity and Capital (IC2) at the University of Texas at Austin, an internationally recognized think tank dedicated to advancing the theory and practice of entrepreneurship wealth creation. Grenell has also served as Interim Assistant Provost for the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs at Auburn University, and as Director of the Master of Public Administration Program also at Auburn University.

Featured in Diversity MBA Magazine’s January 2008 issue and Milwaukee Magazine’s December 2007 issue, Grenell was also recognized in 2003 by the Opelika-Auburn News as one of the 10 most progressive people in the Opelika-Auburn Alabama area. Grenell is a leading chief diversity officer in higher education, economic development expert, entrepreneurship expert, and expert leadership trainer. His 27 years of professional work experience includes higher education, Corporate America, local government, and the non-profit sector.

As a recognized speaker and consultant, Grenell has been engaged in events such as the following: coordinated an international entrepreneurship conference in Cape Town, South Africa, served as keynote speaker for election officials annual summer retreat for the Government of the Virgin Islands, participated as an expert on the panel session, “Competitive Advantages of Minority Enterprises”, for the US Department of Commerce’s MED week, participated as an expert on the panel session “Transparency in Public Management” for the National Endowment for the Public Trust at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., Keynote speaker for the Wisconsin Supplier Development Council, Keynote speaker for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Keynote speaker for the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Keynote speaker for the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee’s Minority Entrepreneurship Program, Keynote speaker for the Milwaukee Branch Freedom Fund Dinner, Keynote speaker for the Alabama Community Leadership Network Statewide Leadership Conference, and a speaker for the Louisiana State Bar Association Diversity Forum, and a speaker for the 1st Public Scholars in Africana International Conference on Globalization at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).

Dr. Grenell earned a B.A. in Political Science at Tougaloo College, a Master of Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) from Mississippi State University and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Northern Illinois University. Grenell is the co-editor of the book, Entrepreneurship in South Africa and In The United States: Comparative Studies.
